De Grand Prix Freestyle in Gothenburg kreeg een prachtige winnares. Niet de zoveelste Duitser won de proef maar de Deens amazone Cathrine Dufour. Met Atterupgaards Cassidy (v. Caprimond) scoorde ze 87.860%. Ze kreeg tienen voor de galoppirouettes in een puntgave proef met de expressieve en constante 17-jarige Cassidy.
Tweede werd de Duitser Benjamin Werndl met Daily Mirror (v. Damon Hill) die naar een totaal van 86,170% reed. Frederic Wandres volgde met Duke of Britain (v. Dimaggio) op ruime afstand met 81.465%. Charlotte Fry deed het ook nu weer heel goed met haar Dark Legend (Zucchero xTango). Met 81.030% belandde ze op de vierde plaats.
Margo Timmermans werd nu negende met 71.115% voor haar optreden met haar 13-jarige Catch Me (Dreamcatcher x Goodtimes). Nars Gotmer werd elfde met Figaro (Apache x Zichem) met 68.705%. Saskia Maertens zag haar proef met Legend of Loxley totaal de mist in gaan waardoor ze bleef steken op 58.310% op de laatste plaats.
